Rain & Tears

Today is a day of reflection
a watery day of tears and rain
inside and out
why does love slip so easily
in and out of the heart?
Love, like Beauty cannot be held
or contained, for the moment
one does so, it melts away.

    I don't believe that a "true" and solid love can slip so easily out of the heart. Not for me anyway.

    And, not containing Love is the most difficult, but also the most freeing, and best lesson we learn in life.

    I'm probably being too pragmatic and not so poetic:)

    I hope the tears will turn to smiles soon.

    I was at that place of my tears the other day. The washing of the soul. I, too, believe that there are true solid loves out there. And that you or I have not had the experience of that...yet...
